| In the 2012/2013 financial year, the Dr Havinga Laerskool was the recipient of a bizbook corner, which has been specifically designed for those younger learners that are still learning how to read. The bizbook corner is predominantly used by the school’s grade R to grade three learners, whilst the grade four to seven learners are serviced by the mobile library, which recently paid the learners and teachers there a visit.
The Konica Minolta South Africa mobile library not only allows these children access to books they may otherwise never enjoy, it is also equipped with six laptops and a printer, effectively making it a mobile IT centre.
