Kimberley Branch Plants Trees at Local School

by Konica Minolta SA

Konica Minolta South Africa’s Kimberley branch was recently welcomed with open arms, according to branch manager, Gerhard Krüger, at Beacon Primary School, a public primary school in Colville, Kimberley. The Kimberley team was on site to assist in the planting of 50 trees donated by Konica Minolta South Africa, with the assistance of corporate social investment (CSI) partner, Food & Trees for Africa (FTFA).

“We arrived to a warm welcome of children singing and playing the bugle. The day was filled with smiles, laughter and happy children knowing that they’ll be enjoying the shade for years to come,” Gerhard recounts.

Beacon Primary School is a dual medium school that provides excellent education to over 1,000 learners.
